GSBC+Invest Community Bank Investments School

The Community Bank Investments School (CBIS) is a three-and-a-half day training that delivers strategies on how to independently manage a community bank investment portfolio. CBIS is designed for individuals who have completed GSBC+Invest’s Bond Basics or similar training and/or portfolio managers and executive officers who play a role in making investment decisions. Under the guidance of investments experts, participants view their banks’ individual bond portfolios on Bloomberg terminals to learn how to weigh the strengths and weaknesses of buying decisions, how to design and maintain a profitable investments strategy and how to create a pre-purchase plan. CBIS is a live workshop held each May in Denver, Colorado.
